What is Dibond?
Dibond is the first aluminium composite substrate which has been optimised for display purposes. It's lightweight and can be custom cut to shape, making it extremely strong and rigid. Our Dibond is mainly used for internal and external applications and can be used for a wide variety of surfaces.
Other common names of Dibond include Dilite, Dibond Digital and Raybond.
Dibond signs from One Printer are lightweight and rigid. The composite material l consists of a flexible polyethylene core covered with a thin aluminium sheet on each side, and is finished with a high quality lacquer that guarantees perfect printing. The hoarding grade version is the same, but designed for single side use only.
What are Dibond sheets used for?
Also known as aluminium composite, Dibond sheets are mainly used for making advertising signs and displays. Dibond lasts extremely well, with high UV resistance and excellent stability within a range of temperatures.
Dibond from One Printer is the perfect metal sign replacement, and can offer the same metallic finish without the weight or the risk of rusting from other metals.
Like most cut plastic sheeting, Dibond is easy to work with. It can be drilled, riveted, screwed or nailed to almost any surface, and as it will not rust or crack, it's ideal for both long and short-term advertising displays.
Dibond can be mounted with Self Adhesive Vinyl, or printed directly from a Direct UV printer.
